The battery arrived earlier than promised (within two or three days), in perfect condition. So far--after charging, discharging completely, and recharging once--the battery performs as advertised, providing 8-9 hours of use, including several WiFi hours, per charge. Its somewhat bulky size adds a little to the dimensions and weight of my tiny netbook (Aspire One, 8.9"), but it enables me to use the computer for the purpose for which I bought it: long bus and train trips.

This battery is amazing. The increased battery life would last you through nearly any trip. Depending on what I'm doing, I'm getting about 8 hours of battery life out of it.
And I like how it's "L" shaped, which allows more airflow underneath which keeps your netbook cooler.

My only regret is not buying this product sooner.
The size factor is seriously of no consequence at all to me, if anything the weight might be more of an issue, and that is still non-consequential. That's especially so because of the long battery life! Finally makes this netbook truly portable.
In the process of conditioning the battery right now. So far getting about 6 hours with wireless on.
Seller was great with feedback and shipping. I ordered at 1:15 pm and received at around 2pm the next day.
I still think at around 90dollars its a good deal. If you choose 2 day or standard shipping, this item is a steal!

This battery is great. I am getting as much as 10 hours on a charge. The picture makes the battery look bigger than it is. As noted by others the battery makes a good handle. Weight does increase considerably with the larger battery. The price was right and the performance exceeds my expectations.

This is on an Emachines 250-1162 (same as ACER Aspire One D250)
I have had this battery a little over a week now and have to say it works great. I have been able to get almost 10 hours of usage even with WiFi enabled and running a movie on it. It almost doubles the weight of my netbook, which caught me by surprise. Once you get past that part you find the pluses in it lifting the back off the table for better airflow and now you have a built-in handle. This is not something that will allow you to slip it inside a sleeve, which is not a problem for me since I have a small case I carry mine in.
When you first receive the battery, my advice is to (a) make sure it is seated securely in place, mine fits very snug. (b) run the battery all the way down until the laptop shuts down, it will have some charge on it when you receive it. (c) let it charge up all the way the first time you recharge it, it will take several hours the first time. (d) if the charge light does not come on when you plug it in, reseat the plug again and it will work.
I tossed around between the 6 cell and the 9 cell mainly because of size and weight. In the long run I have to admit I am glad I got the 9 cell. I really like the extra time it gives me and adds some attitude hanging off the back of the notebook.
